I am a 55-year-old woman, married for 30 years, with a 23-year-old son.  I am a liberal who disagrees with many people in my town, state, country and world, and I am using the forum of this blog to express my own views and, with luck, gain some support for them.  And, I review books I read and discuss other things that aren’t nearly as serious.

I’ve been extraordinarily blessed in my life, in so many different ways, and I want to extend those blessings to other people.
